Guest Policy

YMCA of Selma Dallas County Guest Policy

The YMCA of Selma Dallas County is a membership organization and welcomes guests under the following conditions:

LOCAL GUESTS

  • All guests must have a picture ID & fill out a Guest Registration Form.

  • All guests must be accompanied by a member who is at least 18 years of age.

  • Members with guests must pay $10 for their adult guests (who are over 14) and/or must pay $5 for children under 14.

  • If a member brings a guest who attends a local college (Wallace Community College, Concordia & Selma University) even if they live out of town, they are considered a local guest and the fee is $10/visit, and they must be with a member. 

  • There is a NO Guest policy during summer (Jun, July & Aug)

OUT OF TOWN GUESTS

  • Each member may bring ONE out of town Guest per visit & pay $5/- for each guest.

  • They must show ID to verify residence, unless if he/she is a kid under 16 yrs old. 

  • They must show proof of residency and live at least 60 miles out of Dallas County.

  • There is a NO Guest policy during summer (Jun, July & Aug)

GRAND PARENT GUESTS

Our members who are Grandparents may add up to 5 of their grand-kids per membership for $20/- per month during the summer & Spring break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays only.

 

YMCA OF THE USA ‘Y AWAY’ PROGRAM (YMCA NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP COMING SOON)

We do honor the “Y Away” program for those members of the YMCA who are visiting from other cities & can verify their current YMCA membership.  If you bring a guest, follow the above rule.

  • “Away” limit :  14 free visit per calendar year,  $2/- per visit thereafter.

  • All rules and regulation are subject to change at the discretion of the YMCA Professional Staff.  

  • This will only be done to improve the quality and to insure all members & guests are safe.
