Your kids will discover the friendships, character values and fun of day camp that build self-esteem and leadership abilities.
Day camp can offer almost all of the benefits of traditional camp—new experiences, skill building, a sense of community and lasting friendships — in rural and urban settings while allowing campers to return home each afternoon.
During the summer months, children who lack quality learning experiences tend to lose academic skills over the school break. Such losses – which equate to two months of a grade level each summer -- accumulate year after year. Studies have shown that by the end of eighth grade, summer learning loss can account for 66 percent of the achievement gap between low- and high-income students.
Summer Day Camp is an all-inclusive camp experience, that offers campers activities ranging from sports, to swimming, to arts and crafts and academia. Seeking to maintain a high level of fun and excitement, campers will be exposed to activities that coincide with the academic lesson of the day. In this way, the learning aspect of camp with be seamless and a great experience for children during the summer months.
